Noted composer and clinician Frank Ticheli takes you on a tour of his works, emphasising that music is more than just a collection of notes somehow strung together. The demonstration ensemble will be the Austin Symphonic Band, under the direction of Richard Floyd. Among the works to be explored are Ticheli's own Cajun Folk Songs, Amazing Grace, Sun Dance, Cajun Folk Songs II, and Blue Shades.

The clinic will be held on 11:00pm, Thursday, December 18, in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Towers. Please join us for this annual late-night tradition!
