Another Evening
with John Philip Sousa

7:30PM, March 20th, 1998 - Palmer Auditorium
with Wiff Rudd, Trumpet, and Claire Vangelisti, Soprano

The Austin Symphonic Band presents "Another Evening with John Philip Sousa," a re-creation of a period Sousa concert. Music Director Richard Floyd will appear as "the March King" himself. The band will perform selections that Sousa's barnstorming bands might have on a visit to Austin. The band will also feature Wiff Rudd of Rhythm and Brass on solo trumpet, and soprano/ ALO Young Artist Claire Vangelisti.

This concert will be held at 7:30pm, Friday, March 20th, at Austin's Palmer Auditorium. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for students and senior citizens. Quantity discounts are available for 10 or more tickets. Tickets may be purchased from band members, or via credit card (MC, V, AX, Discover) from The Box Office, (512) 454-TIXS (454-8497), inside Book People, 603 N. Lamar.
