The 2007-08 season continues our popular Subscription Series, Parks Concert Series, and Around Town concerts. Have a look - there's something here for everyone. Our MicroBand will continue to present mini-concerts - generally taking a subset of the band into a senior center or similar location.

"Fall Concert in the Park"

The Austin Symphonic Band presents its traditional Fall concert in Zilker Park. Bring a snack and spread your blanket under the pecan trees at the beautiful Hillside Theatre. Then watch the stars come out as the band showcases music as big as the great outdoors.

The ASB is honored to be chosen to perform at the prestigious Midwest Clinic - An International Band and Orchestra Conference. The Midwest Clinic is one of the most important annual gatherings in the music education field, drawing music educators, professionals, and students from all 50 states and more than 30 foreign countries. ASB celebrates your Dad with this annual concert at the Zilker Hillside Theatre. Marches, patriotic melodies, and other familiar works are the order of the day - selections that will have your Dad's toe tappin' - as well as your own! Bring a picnic basket and spread out a blanket under the Pecan trees at the Hillside Theatre.

The Austin Symphonic Band has been invited to perform at the annual Texas Bandmasters Association Convention/Clinic in San Antonio, Texas. We will be a Featured Concert on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lila Cockrell Theater.
