Palmer Auditorium is located just south of downtown Austin, across from Town Lake. In the map above, it's where the pink dot is, in the center of the map.

• If you're north of the river, go south and cross the river.
• Take the Riverside exit.
• Turn west (towards Mopac) onto Riverside.
• After a little less than a mile, you will cross Congress Avenue and then South First. Palmer is at the corner of South First and Riverside - you can't miss the huge, domed building! Parking is generously located around the building.

• Take the 2244 exit, which is the first one south of the river. If you came from the north, take the u-turn under the expressway; if you came from the south, proceed straight through the intersection (e.g. do NOT turn onto 2244 in either case).
• You proceed (on Barton Springs Road) through Zilker Park.
• After leaving Zilker Park (and passing by such Austin landmarks as Chuy's) you'll get to a stoplight at Lamar Blvd. Continue on Barton Springs.
• By the time you get to South First Street, you should see Palmer on your left. Park in the lot next to the large domed building, which is Palmer Auditorium.
