Elections for the board of directors were held during the band's annual
business meeting on May 19, 1998. The winners were:
The band's thanks also go to those officers whose terms expire on May 31, 1998: outgoing Past President Chuck Ellis and former Member-at-large Kathleen Harris.
And, for the first time in many years, a presidential officer has been
elected from a section other than the horns (Foreman is a clarinetist).

Congratulations to these new officers (MacNary was re-elected). They
