Rehearsals are generally held from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Connally High School's Band Hall each Tuesday night. Guests are welcome, and if you would like to join but your section is full, you can be put on a waiting list to be called when a vacancy develops. Guests, please note - ASB's policy is that guests are welcome to sit in on any rehearsal, except the two weeks immediately preceding a concert.

New members who join the band will be assessed dues as any other member - $75 per season. Members joining after Jan. 1 will only pay half dues. Members who are delinquent paying dues are prohibited from playing at concerts.

Members of the band are expected to make reasonable efforts to attend as many rehearsals as possible. When a player knows they will not be able to attend a rehearsal, they should notify their section leader and ensure that, if needed, music gets to that week's rehearsal.

A musician who misses both of the normal rehearsals directly before a concert cannot perform in the concert without the express approval, in advance, of the music director (per the By-Laws of the organization).

The band's season usually runs from late August until around July 4th. This page will be updated whenever special rehearsals, or no rehearsals, are to be held.

Prospective members, please note: Most sections are full. You are still invited to attend a rehearsal because we'd like to meet you, and there's always some movement in the band. We'll also give you information on other community bands and orchestras in the area if we cannot use your talents at this time!
